Paint Technician
We’re looking for an experienced Paint Technician to join our skilled body shop team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, excellent colour-matching skills, and experience refinishing vehicles to the highest standards. You’ll work on a wide range of vehicles — from everyday jobs to full restorations — using quality materials and equipment in a professional workshop environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare vehicles and panels for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming.
Mix and match paints accurately using manufacturer or custom specifications.
Apply base coats, clear coats, and finishes to a high-quality standard.
Inspect finished work for quality and ensure all paintwork meets workshop standards.
Work closely with the panel and prep teams to ensure smooth workflow and job completion.
Maintain all spray equipment and ensure the paint booth and workspace are clean and safe.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Paint Technician, Vehicle Painter, or Refinisher.
Excellent knowledge of paint preparation, application, and finishing techniques.
Strong attention to detail and colour accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full UK driving licence.
ATA or NVQ Level 3 qualification preferred but not essential if experienced.
